ExpoSteel 2010

ExpoSteel 2010, a trade show with approximately 3,000m² of floor area, will take place simultaneously to the Conference. It will gather representatives of steel and mining companies, suppliers of equipment, services and technological innovations for the steel production chain. Besides congress participants, exhibitors will also receive visitors who will enjoy free access to the area.

President Lula was present at the opening ceremony in 2007 and visited the stands at the event, which gathered 1,000 executives circulating among the stands.

The 2007 exhibitors were CSN, Arcelor Brasil, Gerdau, Usiminas/Cosipa, MMX, White Martins, Vale, Multiserv, Siemens Vai, V&M do Brasil, Votorantim, Aços Villares, Druck Brasil, ABM, Enfil, Triunfo and Danieli do Brasil.

The event was largely promoted in print and digital media with insertions in major communication vehicles such as Valor Econômico, Gazeta Mercantil, Folha de São Paulo, O Globo, O Estado de São Paulo, Jornal do Brasil, Correio Braziliense, Jornal do Commercio, Revista Isto É Dinheiro, Steel Week, Infomoney, UOL, Terra, TV Bloomberg, SBT, CBN, Bandnews, among others, generating a spontaneous media exposure worth R$ 2,491,562.00.

Within this context, the Brazilian Steel Conference – 21ª edition & ExpoSteel 2010 pose an excellent opportunity to enlarge and improve networking among Brazilian and international companies, to do business and to introduce products, services and technologies.
